Drawings for the Score

Bruce and I worked on these large drawings/collages together using the extracts from the Derrida ‘Memoirs of the Blind’ text as guidelines for selecting the imagery. We used photos that I had specifically collected for use in this project and the wealth of coloured collage material in Bruces’ studio to construct the images. Bruce is a great ‘collagiste' and we seemed to be able to work together with ease and a certain harmony of thought based on our similar conceptual affinities. |
